Not as good as factory, but the image is displayed. The positioning grid is arbitrary and not adjustable. The word "STOP" flashes continuously. One would assume that this was meant to indicate proximity to something, but apparently not. Switching on takes a few seconds. Resets a function. Some have asked about the lack of a dimming lever on the mirror. By default, the mirror is dimmed. Mytruck has a protective glass that makes the image much darker. It is no problem for me. Night images are not too bright. The camera image will darken in dark environments due to the sensor underneath the image. The ON/OFF switch only turns off the camera, which only turns on when the car is reversing, so I'm not sure this feature is useful. Problems depending on the vehicle: The cable was long enough for my medium-sized truck. In my opinion a full size crew cab truck will not work with this.
