These little cups come well packaged. They are biodegradable. If you hover over the cups, you'll see that there's also a bit of texture on the outside to keep them from slipping out of your fingers. I mostly use them with ketchup to dip french fries. We have a school buffet and it suits our needs very well. These small mugs are made in China and sold on Revain by a Chinese company. At the current price of twenty-three dollars, I find them quite expensive, but they're biodegradable, not plastic.
