2017 Forester 2.5i w/o Navigation w/o Harmon Kardon I can't believe I've waited so long for this update. Installation was very easy, everything you need was included. I had a little trouble getting the rear camera to work, but I emailed them and they got back to me right away. They wanted me to take a picture of my rig and I was in no rush to take the dash apart again and was planning on doing it this morning. While I was sleeping THEY emailed me a picture of the required connection and that was all it took. Programming the SWC (Steering Wheel Control) is easy, but you must go into settings and be sure to save. I'm not sure how much power this thing puts out, but it seems to be at least 25% louder than the factory head unit and less. distortion above. Installation was quick but you do have to remove the vents and air conditioning/heating console which was very easy. Installing it into my foz was more difficult the first time around as I was afraid I would press too hard somewhere and break something. The second time I made sure to route all the cables and then insert the bottom piece first, and then I had to bend the top piece into its slots somehow. I was afraid of breaking it there, but I gave the old installer a nudge and now it's neat AF! If you're on the fence like me, I highly recommend treating yourself!
