Reversing camera without car electronics

Installation was easy, pressing the clips was a bit annoying, seems to fit well on 2018z. correct 2018 and later the camera has changed and you need someone to connect it.

Fits my WRX like a glove

Must have been a factory radio. Sounds great, has great built-in apps for radio, music, GPS, etc. The main home screen is awesome. The steering wheel controls worked like magic with the radio. All the necessary cables were included with the radio. Simply unplug the old radio, plug in the cables to the car, plug in the new radio. It was so easy. Headache and not for 2016 Crosstrek

I really wanted to like this radio. I really did. Here are my problems: 1. CarPlay is very popular or non-existent. First, if you plan to start your car remotely, your phone won't connect to CarPlay until you turn your car off and on again. It's like there's a 10 second window when you start the car, the radio tries to connect and then gives up before fully restarting. I've tried simply turning the radio off and on again, but that only worked when the engine itself was off for a few seconds…

Not Plug and Play for XV Crosstrek 2014 with stock Head Unit FM622US
