This attachment is heavy. Fits perfectly in my KitchenAid Professional 6000 HD, sits very securely and locks into place. I was concerned about compatibility with 3rd party products but it definitely fits the way it was made, very satisfied. It's a bit difficult to set up the setting for the first time, you need to study it carefully. Once you receive it, no problem. Although my results have been good, I will say that you need to flour the dough well or it will get stuck. I'm sure that goes for any pasta attachment, especially this one. Satisfied customer.
