This took no more than 30 minutes including cleaning. Jack the car up a few ramps and you'll see the connector for this just behind the engine cover/drip tray. You don't have to remove the tray, just take your time to unplug the cable from the connector. The other end is held in place with 4mm allen head screws. You will need a 3-4 inch straight hex wrench. Pull the old cable out of the plastic sheath, replace it with a new one and reattach it. All errors have been eliminated and the car runs smoothly again.
