It turned out that the factory sealing didn't work, water seeped in underneath and formed a weak seam with some porosity along the floor and sill. was removed, followed by the standard POR-15. After the POR had flared up and cured for a few days, he went back and carefully covered all the seams with this gunk and allowed another week to set. Results? I can only say wow. The bottom went from being very weak and full of gaps to being solid, reliable and durable. That's exactly what I need.
