I love this little pole but there are a few things I want to know before buying. There is a license plate holder. However, this is easily corrected with a few careful measurements and an electric drill. I ended up installing mine behind a bracket after drilling two precisely spaced 1/4" holes. Now it's centered and looks great on my Jeep Liberty. Easy enough to drill through aluminum. If you're using it on a Installing plastic bumper cover I would recommend replacing the license plate/bracket screws with two equal sized bolts with locknuts on the back (thin plastic).Bolts are easy to fix.The plating on the bracket is very well done and looks as good as new would last them a long time.Aluminum is nice and light but surprisingly strong.Too much weight on it or it will likely bend.It's not exactly a structural element like a traditional bull bar, but it will work well for your small off-road light fixtures.
