First off I would like to say that the light itself is fine. It is very bright and has multiple functions. However, the reason I bought this light was because the last light I had on my bike fell off. I drive in Maine on bumpy country roads with bumps and potholes and things like that. To charge, the flashlight has to be removed from the bike and is held in place by a rubber band. It just wouldn't be enough for my bike and I would be zipping back and forth down the street looking for the spot where my headlight fell off. It may be suitable for smooth roads, but I don't recommend it for rough roads or country driving. I also wonder how long the elastic will last because it needs to be stretched to remove the flashlight for charging. My advice to the manufacturer: take a very good flashlight they have and find another way to attach it to the bike. Just because he gets on a bike doesn't mean he won't encounter bumps along the way.
