Bright, bright, bright.

This taillight is a monster! I've been to a thousand bike shops looking for a bright light and can't find one like this one. The brightest flashlights have a maximum of about 30 lumens. This bad boy has a light output of 100 lumens. Driving in a crowded city can be a safety net for cyclists. I attached it to a tube post and it stood upright like a light made for a post. If you are looking for a super bright and durable rear light, you have to diligently search and compare other lights at this…

Holds on a rubber band

First off I would like to say that the light itself is fine. It is very bright and has multiple functions. However, the reason I bought this light was because the last light I had on my bike fell off. I drive in Maine on bumpy country roads with bumps and potholes and things like that. To charge, the flashlight has to be removed from the bike and is held in place by a rubber band. It just wouldn't be enough for my bike and I would be zipping back and forth down the street looking for the spot…

Works well and is clearly visible

I bought two of these and both have worked well from day one. Bright enough for an emergency light. Installation was easy after selecting the correct size ring and securing it to the seat tube. I take them off after a ride to charge them without stretching the attachment ring. Be careful which charger you use. Due to the lower capacity of the 950mA battery, the instructions do not recommend using a 1 amp charger. Most tablets and phones use a 2 amp or greater charger which will overheat the…

DAY or NIGHT Riders - that's noticeable!

We're part of an e-bike club that often rides EARLY mornings (when the sun is up and it's dark outside) so we love the extra protection that the Guard G3X provides Pro 100 offers ( by ApaceVision.) It's MUCH brighter than our standard bike taillights and can be seen farther back while riding. With 45 hours of battery life (on a single charge) we didn't waste time counting, but we do 28-30 miles at a time and leave the lights on for all of our 2-3 hour rides. I've only had to charge it once…

Great light with poor mounting system

This light is great and just what I wanted. It has many mode options for personal preference. I use Daybright mode almost exclusively and it works exactly as I expected. It is very bright and noticeable even in the very bright Arizona sun. The battery life is definitely in line with my expectations as I drive around 12 hours between charges. The only problem with this light is the fastening system, which is a rubber band. At least one other reviewer commented on the failure of the rubber band…

Bright light with no mounting design

As much as I love the Bontrager Flare RT taillights I've had in the past (ie, bright light, Garmin GPS connectivity, and the ability to look at an angle up or down depending on the angle of the seat tube), they can usually no longer be charged after 6 months to 2 years. But at around $60 a bulb, I'm tired of having to change bulbs so often, especially when there are other options. I decided to give this Apace Guard G3X PRO100 lamp a try because not only is it slightly brighter, but it's also…

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

I got this Bike Front Safety Light USB Rechargeable from Apace together with Bike Tail Light USB Rechargeable from Apace on Tuesday afternoon received, delivered by the US Postal Service. When I opened both packages I was amazed at the quality of the products, just amazing. I first looked at the instructions provided and stated the charging requirements which are a maximum of 5 volts / 1 amp, so I found a charger for my iPhone 4 that is equivalent to a charger. Properties within the required…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • I will write later

Form and Function: First, if you have an aero seatpost, the support pads that come with it may not be ideal. You can probably find a way to get it to mount. It's also too big for most seatstays and not easy to mount to saddle rails or saddlebags. Anything is possible with a little creativity, but works best with round seat posts. It includes lots of mounting spacers and straps, and a cute little pouch. For me, a slightly larger size is good. This offers high overall performance without high…
