Some force is required to insert the screw.

I was a bit skeptical at first because I saw in the review that it didn't fit. When I first put it on I also thought it wouldn't work. You just need to make sure you are using the correct rubber insert and that it is properly attached. Some force may be required to install the screw. You need to press or clamp hard and insert the screw. I installed it on my Trek Domane AL2.
