Haven't used blades in years and wanted a good pair. And these blades are of good quality. But they are not perfect, here is my conclusion. Uncomfortable out of the box. They are very tight and will probably take some time to put them on. The buckles are not very good. They are durable and of good quality, but functionality lies below the base. They attract only one level at a time. And the cutouts are small. Also, as soon as they are slightly tightened, the mechanism stops working and you have to manually press the tape so that the tension on the tape decreases and the next groove can fall into the groove. It's hard to explain but the straps don't work well. Also, when you loosen the strap, you have to press on a small tab, slightly larger than a tic-tac-toe, to loosen the strap. And when your straps are tight, it's difficult to loosen that eyelet. A little annoying. It's a small thing, but the lining comes out too easily. I almost can't get my foot out without the lining coming out. Shoelaces are almost not needed. They don't really serve a purpose and getting in and out is quite painful, the laces just add to the time. I ordered some elastic laces that I will add and never have to adjust when I put them on and off. They don't serve any function, but I like the look better with laces. The blades run well and I have no complaints when you put them on. All materials are high quality, I think they will last a long time. They definitely wanted to make a good product, I just think they could put more effort into the buckles and make the boot a little more comfortable. I'm not sure I would do it again. I'll be using them for a month and we'll see how they wear.
