I have worn a monofin for exactly 3 weeks, a total of 6 times. To answer all the reviews saying you can't fit in this thing with your adult feet - you can, but it certainly isn't easy. I am a 9ft female and could not stand on my own feet in any way, my husband had to stand in the pool with me on the step in front of me and curl neoprene on my heels like a parent puts tight shoes on a child. Once those heels finally compress, it's super comfortable! But from an anatomical point of view, it was impossible to put more than one foot in the water. See photos for durability - photos of damaged fin tips after 6 uses in my pool. I don't know if it hit the edge of the pool or scraped the floor, but after the third swim the fabric started tearing. Due to the need to be an acrobat to put it on and the poor durability of the fabric at the points of contact with the marble in the pool, I am bringing it back and replacing it with a Body Glove fin that is easier to climb for your feet and no fabric. Well worth the extra $15 as the workout you get swimming with this thing is amazing!
