I have purchased many rolls of Velcro brand garden ties over the years and I really like this product. I have used it for both indoor and outdoor garden, no problem. This time I bought the revised version. I always support recycling whenever possible. However, the recycled product is no longer the same. I had to cut much larger strips to almost double wrap them or they wouldn't stay closed. Even using the extra length I've found them to loosen and fall off the plant. This never happened with the original version. I don't know how else this product differs from the original Velcro vegetable ties and I don't know why recycled materials have changed the product so much. As much as I love recycling, it tends to be a waste because I have to buy duplicates and always put back the ones that fall.
