My basement is now flooded with flash floods in my new house for the first time at a new location. I ordered this pump for small jobs not related to the basement. At the time of writing we are in the middle of a COVID-19 lockdown and I live in a rural area, everything local is closed. So this pump worked overtime for several hours pumping water out of the basement and did a wonderful job, I had to turn it off several times because it was no longer submerged in water. I expect the motor to burn out at some point tonight and if it does I'll order a new one immediately to put it to good use and I'm sure it can handle it. A little thing saves the day until I can go to the hardware store and buy a proper sump pump. Couldn't be happier with this thing.
