Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Precision and Efficiency with the Yakamoz Pattern Template Bearing Milling Tool by Rob Allen

Not 1/4 " shank for straight, spiral and trimming router bits

I bought these to work on the guitar. My first project was to mill the cavity of a solid body electric guitar, but I couldn't do it because of too much chatter and the beat kept slipping out. I thought there was something wrong with the collet on my new Dewalt router. I replaced another bit and it worked fine. It turned out to be a slightly under 1/4" shank (I'm assuming they're metric) that was small enough not to have a secure fit when the collet was fully tightened . Generally if you have the ability to customize them you can pass. If you need them to be 1/4 inch like me, they're useless.

Pros
  • Router bits
Cons
  • There are new competitors
