Review on 🚲 Kuat Racks NV 2.0 Bike Rack - Top-Notch Stability and Versatility for Your Bikes by Michael Nard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rack liked, but noticed a number of small nuances.

Last year I brought back the previous version of the NV2. I needed a strong bottom rail for my TRI bike. What fascinated me the most was the bike rack. I liked the stand a lot, but I noticed a few small nuances that I think could have been done better. Unfortunately, I was hit from behind and the frame bent and broke. So I had to replace it. In the old version there was no stand. Without thinking twice, I bought a new one. The updates in this version of the rack are OUTSTANDING! Kuat solved all the problems I had and more with this version of the rack. Molded hubcaps fit different wheel widths. The built-in steel security cable is almost twice as long as the old one and has 2 locks. The back cover on the elbow is now molded and appears to be welded on (my old one ended up falling off). The step lock for folding the rack is much more convenient. After all, for us TRI people and mountain bikers with deep profile carbon wheels or large premium tires, it's not just the belts that are longer and wider, which makes them more durable. But even if the new ones aren't long enough, they contain an extension kit. BRILLIANT! The rack is expensive, but in this case you really do get what you pay for.
