This is a good product but the thread was marked incorrectly. Since I bought the shorter ones with the same thread designation and the other hardware fitted perfectly, I can confirm that the problem was with them. I needed a 1/4 - 20 thread but these were not available. I almost destroyed the entire desk I was working on when the screws were screwed in so tight they ripped out all the wood inlays. Since I was working with MDF boards, I quickly ran out of options. Really disappointing as they are high build quality and the shorter ones are threaded correctly (same company).
