I live in the Central Valley, California, and we have a lot of goat head patches. So I fixed 3 or more road bike inner tubes a week in the summer, intermittently the rest of the year (only about 3000-4000 miles a year). I used up my first box of 100 patches in about 3-4 years and just bought a second box. It is great. I use them with regular rubber hose repair glue from my local auto parts store (O'Reilly in my case). A 3" tube is only a few bucks and lasts me a year. This is the most economical way to repair high frequency tubes. My only complaint is that these patches are only slightly larger than the width of the 700x25c inner tube as they Attach to (flattened) flat tube hanging over the edge I deal with this by slightly trimming the patch from two edges The patches are just perfect for 700x28c cameras without any modification I'm up for most of this family's bike fleet Size 28c gone down so it's fine.
