This is my second purchase of a Gates belt here on Amazon. The first one I bought was excellent, but the last one I bought has no indexes or alignment marks on it. These marks are very important during the installation process of this belt. Each line and dotted line syncs all sprockets to the crank, without these marks it is difficult to get correct alignment. There is no room for error here, even a loose tooth will cause the engine to run sporadically. If the start is advanced, it can even lead to other persistent problems. Subaru sti engine is tight. I would not recommend this belt to anyone. Instead, buy a Bando or even a Mitsubishi from the dealer.
