Perfect fit for EJ205

Installed this belt on my Subaru and it fits perfectly. It has markings to match the markings on the pulleys for ease of installation.

Perfect replacement for a 2004 2.0L WRX

I have a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX station wagon with a 2.0L engine. The belt came very quickly, in new condition, with timing marks in the factory packaging. It is perfect and fits exactly as it should. I don't know why there are only negative reviews. Would order again.

Received an item with a hole. .

Item received with a hole. Not sure about timing belts because they are durable. I was planning to install this in my Subaru over the weekend, but when I opened it up to see if it had the timestamps on it (and it does) I noticed a hole and nick in the belt. I can't comment on the performance of the belt itself as I haven't been able to use it.

Tip - I would highly recommend a camlock tool to lock the driver's side camera.

Direct replacement for the 2005 Subaru WRX EJ20 (2.0L) engine. There are alignment marks on the strap, so just search the web for instructions or the instructions that came with it and follow them. Tip - I highly recommend a cam lock tool to lock the driver side cams in place to keep them in place. out of line. You're in a spring-loaded position when trying to line everything up, and a little pressure can result in a bent valve.

The new belt has no alignment/index marks

This is my second purchase of a Gates belt here on Amazon. The first one I bought was excellent, but the last one I bought has no indexes or alignment marks on it. These marks are very important during the installation process of this belt. Each line and dotted line syncs all sprockets to the crank, without these marks it is difficult to get correct alignment. There is no room for error here, even a loose tooth will cause the engine to run sporadically. If the start is advanced, it can even…
