About as accurate as tapping a wall and listening to the tone
Is that a pin in that wall? Or just soundproofing? If you use this tool, you won't be able to tell the difference. I followed the instructions and calibrated it several times with no improvement. It worked a bit on a few interior walls, but if there's insulation or wiring/piping within 3 feet of the wall, this tool has no idea what's going on.
