Review on Honeywell 40003916 048 Replacement Switch V8043F by Jeff Alradwan

I bought four of these to replace my old zone valves. Even before I installed them, I wanted to make sure they would work properly. I've found on each of them that when the valve is fully open, the piston doesn't even come close to turning on the limit switch. It's about 1/8 inch from it. As a result, it will never need heat. See attached image where I have highlighted the piston and limit switch outlined in green on each valve. How should it work? Can it be customized?
