These LEDs are great except factory assembly is less reliable. I had two tops ripped off the socket because the boards, which have a ground ring on the outer edge similar to the PCB design, were not soldered to the socket. Only the center pin and ground wire are left, holding the lamp to the base. I used little to no force to screw the bulb in just enough so that the center pin was touching. I've fixed both that are broken, but it's not necessary. Considering these were the only LEDs I could find that met my 12VAC requirements, I'll do my best. Perhaps the manufacturer needs to tighten up quality control a bit more to eliminate this problem.
