Excellent shorts. Soft, similar to hiking pants, but well padded for cycling. The pockets are well thought out. I am teen size I didn't want them to be too small or too big, but I would have preferred them too big than too tight. I have a 34 waist and a large one. If I needed another pair to use for my summer house I would go for a medium size, but that's a tight situation. In general very satisfied. FYI, I've tried EZRun shorts before and the sizing was terrible. The first pair was great, the second pair I couldn't lift high enough to be decent in public.
