This is one of the best warrior sets offered in the Akedo series. Our little girl loves to use Miss Slug. In addition, warriors with such weapons (single stationary) tend to inflict more separate blows. My favorite from this set is by far Tear Bear, although I rarely get to hit my daughter when she's playing with Miss Slither or Strikeout. This set comes with a controller that you can use. Other manifold sets also contain individual regulators. Yes, you can get the Battle Arena with two Battle Controllers installed, just like us. The advantage of spare controllers, however, is that you can use them anywhere. It also gives the other kids a chance to play until their turn in the arena. The other big advantage of the arena is that it has all the sound effects. As with all Akedo warriors in the series, weapons cannot be removed or swapped. They are largely in the hands of warriors. So they can move a bit, they just don't pull out or anything. We haven't received StormStrike as a Mystery Warrior in any of the Collector's Packs yet, but we're still trying. I wish I could say I let our little girl win on purpose to build her confidence. But to be honest, she's a non-stop split hitter when playing alongside one of her favorite warriors. We love these warriors and recommend them to anyone looking to add to their collection.
