Bought a pair for my 2012 Nissan Z just after selling it out. Installation was as easy as one could wish for. Replacing both factory filters took less than 5 minutes and required no tools. I didn't notice much change in the sound or feel of the car. I honestly didn't expect it either. What I particularly noticed is the increased fuel consumption. Under virtually the same driving conditions, my fuel economy went up a few miles per gallon. Anyway, I'm averaging about 24 mph, so it's not a bad improvement. Should save me a lot of money over the life of the car. I also know that with a little cleaning from time to time I can keep these filters for the life of the car. Surprisingly they need to be replaced quite often and the retailer no longer tries to convince me to buy their filters. I've now driven 20,000 km and had no problems with it. All in all, they are not surprising. If you're expecting this, remember that this is just an air filter.
