I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like using the lens. The Canon EOS R is a joy to use for video recording due to its quick, silent, and perfect focusing. Nothing to complain about based on this snapshot. What you need is clarity and volume, and that's exactly what you get. In post-processing, I adjusted the marque profile and found that I had achieved good colors, especially in outdoor settings. This is a really crisp and clean image with no glare or flare; you may prefer lamp light on occasion, but this is something else entirely. It's light enough that you won't even notice carrying it about, which is a big plus in my book. However, I can make an educated guess based on my experience with the Sigma 85 1.4 Art. You may pick between this, the Sigma 35art, and the Canon 35L. The picture's chic crispness and volume, and the bokeh is gorgeous, so kudos to Tamron. Optics from Kenon and Sigma look antiquated next to it. The Sony 35 1.4 G-Master and the new Sigma 35 1.2 may produce a superior image, but I didn't check them out. These are Sony's lenses. I don't know the answer to this.
