I'm blown away by how many reviewers are giving this basket a star because it doesn't fit in their Instant Pot. mmm the manufacturer does not try to advertise for this purpose. Revain might say "often bought with help" but again, the car description makes absolutely NO claim to work in IP. It's like buying a blender and complaining that it won't do the dishes for you. So if you want to complain to someone, complain to all the intellectual property sites that promote it without mentioning that if you don't get your tools out, it won't work. However, I read the reviews and knew what I was getting. I knew I had to bend or remove the handles. It wasn't easy, it took two people and three adjustable wrenches, but now it fits perfectly in my 8 liter pot. I don't know the dimensions of the 6 quart so I don't know if it will work in one. won't be a big problem for me. However, as with any mesh strainer, it can be difficult to remove food stuck in the strainer. This is the nature of seven, so it would be foolish to reject them for it. I have attached a photo of our forging. I keep two adjustable wrenches tight in the welds holding the handle (a locking wrench would have worked better, but we didn't have one). My husband uses a different wrench to bend the handle.
