I bought it for dictating at the office. Using Dragon speech recognition software. In the last 10 years or so 3 lower quality mics have gone through. always with wrong voice reading and lately no recording. In my search for the best microphone, I was drawn to this product mainly because of its noise canceling function and secondly because of its high quality appearance. I have winter heat with forced air and summer air which is quite noisy and affects other units. I was not disappointed. This is the best microphone for my use that I have ever used. There is never a misinterpretation or a missing word, no matter how fast I speak, sometimes even mumbling a little. I am very satisfied and would buy again.
