Review on πŸ–₯️ Aeon Stands and Mounts 40200: Premium Full Motion TV Wall Mount with 28" Extension (Black) by Linda Venerable

Super strong and long reach on swing arm

I installed a new 42" Visio TV on this wall mount. That works great. The extension is 25 inches and the TV can be rotated 180 degrees. You can move the TV up to 4 feet on the wall. This places the TV in the middle of the room or four feet away so it is in front of the treadmill. The large back plate is mounted on 2 wall studs. The center pivot can be freely moved between the posts in 2" increments. My setup ended up with a pivot just above the hairpin. The TV covers the entire mount when centered. The thing is solid. It weighs about 3 times the weight of the TV. The wall mount is assembled first when the swivel mount and TV mount are removed. This is important as you don't need to lift the whole thing to mark the holes, just the wall mount. There are still two people to hold, align and mark the holes. I recommend a spirit level with a magnetic base, it makes life easier. 4 snap-on bolts hold the mount to the wall studs. The swivel mount is then mounted by simply plugging it into the wall mount. The wall bracket holds the bracket during adjustment. 4 screws fasten the swivel arm firmly to the wall bracket. This is easy for one person to do. The swing arm moves smoothly and securely with or without the TV installed. TV mount joints are very versatile with numerous mounting fixtures. Visio didn't need the horizontal or vertical extensions, so they weren't installed. The holes matched perfectly. Just in case, the kit includes a couple of screws of different lengths and a couple of gaskets. Nothing was needed for Visio. The TV with the bracket attached simply mounts to the swing arm and is permanently secured with 2 additional screws. Again, the TV was the easiest part of the build. Cable routing is just about adequate, but a few zip ties improved what was lacking. I am very satisfied with this device. I would recommend it to anyone who can mark studs and drill multiple holes. I compared it to the $300 version sold at Best Buy. This mount is twice the strength, the pivot point is adjustable on the wall, and costs a third of the price. Did I mention it's durable? - Okay, here are some numbers, the wall plate is about 0.15" thick sheet steel (about 10 gauge steel), the swing arm is about 0.14" thick sheet metal (about 11 gauge steel), and the TV mount plate is a plate about 0.10 inch thick (or about 12 gauge steel). For reference, floor safes use a standard wall thickness of 11-gauge. I hope you enjoy your safe as much as I do.
