The WL-WN538A8 (Wavelink Smart WiFi Dual Band AC3200 Router) model undoubtedly has a beautiful design. It looks fine on my desktop. The signal is moderate. Some people say it was easy to set up. The one I had wasn't that easy to set up. It took me about two days to fix all the bugs that came with mine. First, it didn't connect automatically, updating the firmware wasn't a breeze. Apart from that, the worst thing about this company is the warranty agreement. WAVELINK does not fulfill the guarantee agreement. Since installing my router I have once, but mostly twice a week, sometimes the internet was down for an hour. Until three o'clock lately. I contacted Jason, the person in China who answered my emails. I was advised to update the firmware. I told him I did it from day one. He was the one who directed me to the update via another channel. And he told me to change the group channel to 6 or 11. Mine was 11 from day one. However, I changed it to 6. And I still had the same problem. I have contacted Jason again regarding this matter. I have not received an answer within two days. I had to send him another email to remind him of my problem and that I needed help. He finally replied with an apology and asked me to send him the order number, store name, recipient name, address, zip code and phone number. All sent at once. The next email came that he was sorry I didn't buy the router from their store. I was shocked that a router purchased from Revain.com Services LLC is not covered by the company's one year warranty even though the router was registered with them from day one. He wanted me to send it back to Revain, but Revain's returns window closed a few weeks before I became aware of the issue. This is unacceptable. I've only been using the router for four months now. I sent several letters. So far I haven't received an answer. I am posting this to make others think twice before purchasing a WAVELINK product. UPDATE 6/16/21: A WAVELINK account manager contacted me on 5/14/21 about a problem I was having with my router. . He immediately offered me a replacement. I was very happy when I received a new one from China via DHL. I set it up this weekend because he was dying to see how well it worked. I tell you, this router is configured without any complaints. I quickly emailed him with positive feedback. Warranty and customer service are everything to the longevity of the company. I appreciate a company that goes above and beyond. WAVELINK has mastered this task. I am happy. Like I said, I love this beautiful router. I AM SURE I WILL BUY A WAVELINK PRODUCT AGAIN. Thank you for taking the opportunity to read my review.
