Review on 🎡 Black Rotel A12 Stereo Integral Amplifier by Kai Shift ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product, best quality.

Not my first amp. I approached the choice slowly, listened to many competitors from Nad, Marantz, Cambridge and Arcam, in the range up to 120 thousand. Something that plays about the same, is much more expensive. I listen to almost all genres except metal and punk rock. Speakers Bowers & Wilkins 606. For the money, it's a great amp. Pros: - Sounds more expensive than it's worth. Crystal clear, the sound is filled with air, there is a texture. Completely draws the scene and arranges instruments on it. - USB for iphone connection. - Bluetooth is not for show, for background listening is normal. - USB-PC to connect to a PC, defined as an external sound card. - The power is real, and not on paper, as it sometimes happens. Opens any 8 ohm speakers. - Standby mode for all digital inputs. - A decent phono stage, you can not buy a separate one. Got cons: - When switching playback sources and when turning on / off, the relay clicks. - Demanding for placement. If you put some streamer on top or put it in a cabinet, it will warm up. - Makes a slight emphasis on high frequencies, may not be played with acoustics with a monitor and cold sound character. - Does not recognize samsung when connected via usb, most likely other android smartphones will also be ignored. It's the same story with USB sticks.
