Review on Water Purifier: iSpring RCC7AK UV Filtration Remineralization Sterilizer by Dana Martin

This system is made for me and my wife. We moved from the city to metro Florida 7 years ago. We do not have public access to running water or sewers where we have built our retirement home. When we installed the fountain I was told we had hard water but a water softener would solve this problem so we installed it and used that water for the entire home. Fast forward 7 years. Our water softener is broken. Long story short, my wife started drinking bottled water until the plasticizer was fixed for the taste, but I, a stubborn baby boomer, continued to drink tap water. We had our well water tested by several companies along with a new softener rating and here is the result: Raw Well Water - Grain 25,000ppm Salt - 650ppm TDS - 550ppm Post Well in Fridge (post filter) - Salt - 680ppm TDS - 590 ppm PH - 6.8 Water softener repaired and then installed iSpring R/O system with UV. The results are as follows: Post iSrping RO - Salt - 80 ppm TDS - 80 - with mineral filter PH 8.5 Why didn't I do this 7 years ago? Because I've been told R/O systems are outrageously expensive and difficult to install. I beg to differ. The installation took 1 hour and that's because I had to remove an old non-working garbage chute and re-install one of my traps. Ready!
