I bought this radio for less than $5 from Goodwill to use as a garage radio. It serves my purpose there. There is a headphone jack, but mono. That makes sense since the radio is also mono. It seems very sensitive to the AM/FM radio stations around me. This is a much better radio than the $40 Jensen CD-555 I use at work. However, the Jensen is both stereo and CD playback. So this solution works well in an environment like a garage where I listen to it while I'm working on things or cleaning up a spot in the garage. It will be great for that. As for the TV tuner. It won't work because the US is switching to HD digital signals. It's fine for AM/FM reception, though.
