The starter wouldn't stop turning!
The starter turned well and very quickly. The only problem was that it wouldn't turn off when I turned the key to the "ON" or "OFF" position! I verified that the problem is with the starter by troubleshooting the ignition lock, among other things. It seems that the quality control in China is not up to par.
