My 12 year old daughter loves this car. It is very simple and easy to use and perfect for beginners. It took me and my daughter (neither of us seamstresses) a few minutes to get used to it and understand how it works. It comes with a thread, which is very convenient. Rethreading is a bit tricky because the eye of the needle is small, but my husband made it pretty easy for us. It's light and very cute, which is a big plus and adds to its appeal. An ideal machine and price for those who want to learn to sew without making a big investment. I hope he has some staying power. At the moment I can only recommend it!
