This is a circuit breaker with built in ground fault and arc protection. This version has a neutral pigtail for use with load centers without an insertable neutral bar. That being said, I've installed about 12 so far for a home renovation. This may be overkill unless your area is up to date, but the previous homeowner obviously did a lot of electrical work themselves but never had to touch a screwdriver. None of the 12 gave me any problems. But out of 12, 2 shut down due to sparks in the house wiring which I had to find and replace. So I can definitely say that they work in terms of security. Notice in the picture that they stick out twice as much as a standard circuit breaker, so you'll probably need to rewire at the load center. And of course, your neutral wire needs to extend all the way to the breaker itself, since both the hot and neutral wire are connected to the breaker.
