Review on Replacement CCC Club Hardened Borosilicate by Jonathan Olson

My previous carafe broke and while I was tempted to buy a brand new set I didn't want to be wasteful and just throw away the fine gadgets. This glass fits perfectly in the old frame and I'm glad I didn't have to throw the old one away. I can't remember how far the plunger went down in my old jar, but the plunger stands about 3/4 inch from the bottom of this jar, which seems right given there's plenty of room for coffee grounds. I liked the reading material provided and they even emailed a PDF file with some detailed brewing instructions which I find very interesting. (I've been doing it wrong for years, who knows?! 🤷‍♀️) The kit also came with two extra screens, a nice bonus. It has size markings on the side which I don't think is necessary but it's a nice touch that my previous glass didn't have. Just received this so can't confirm durability but it seems as strong as you would expect from a glass tumbler. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this replacement lens.
