Great for hard joints, works with Victor J28 grips
My soldering skills are pretty good but I was completely humbled trying 1/2" and 5/8 Soldering "inch" lines to a 3-ton residential HVAC compressor for the first time. My #2 tip just couldn't get the joint hot enough for a good soldering job. I did a little research and found, that I needed a bud bit but my light victor rig doesn't have a bud bit for my small J28 grip that uses WJ bits this tip fits perfectly has enough flow requirements for my small setup and I've learned how to solder them to the compressor housing.
