This is the second NRG bike I have bought. The first, different design, was a big disappointment, but it's a revelation. The handlebar grip is not as thick as on most new wheels, which I personally like a lot. Most aftermarket wheels feel like you're holding a wooden rake handle. The spokes have a beautiful satin finish, not polished like the description says. The wheel has a flat dish and the spokes have a ring running around the circumference of the wheel with wooden panels attached to either side. In this respect, this feature is similar to some Nardi bikes. I was very surprised that the separate ring surrounding the horn button is made of aluminum. Other NRG wheels use a coated plastic part. The finish matches the needles perfectly. I already had one of the NRG quick release adapters on the car so installation was easy.
