Fantastic steering wheel, perfect fit and finish, I fitted it to my 88 Volvo 240 and everyone gets compliments. The wood is plywood, but thanks to the thick transparent coating, it feels good in the hand.

Very good wheel. Two very small problems with it. 1) The slots in the wheel slots are very sharp. I had to break the edges. 2) The horn button wire must use square spade connectors. There was an issue between the connectors and the NRG Gen 2.0 Steering Wheel Quick Release Kit.

Really disappointed with the fit and finish. Where wood and metal meet, nothing is left to be desired. Jagged edges, weird overlapping material. I see cracks in the clear coat which I suspect will become flaws in the future as the sun and temperature hit them. For 200€ I would have expected better quality.

This is the second NRG bike I have bought. The first, different design, was a big disappointment, but it's a revelation. The handlebar grip is not as thick as on most new wheels, which I personally like a lot. Most aftermarket wheels feel like you're holding a wooden rake handle. The item itself looks good. The aluminum part of the handlebars is well finished and I can imagine it would go well with different types of builds/cars - I have a Honda Civic EG in particular.
