I really like this monitor, but I've encountered a small catch. The monitor is advertised as having a 165Hz refresh rate when connected via DisplayPort. They even provide you with a displayport cable! But when I set up the monitor, I was limited to 120Hz, and I couldn't figure out why, for the life of me. I've reinstalled graphics drivers, messed around with settings, even a friend of mine who is more computer savvy than me came in to see if he could figure out why I couldn't access 165hz. Then it dawned on me, maybe the cable is bad. So I went to the same friend and borrowed a cable from him and sure enough it worked! I was a little frustrated that I was spending so much time troubleshooting when the issue was related to the included DisplayPort cable all along. TLDR: If you're having trouble getting the advertised 165Hz refresh rate, I recommend ordering a new DisplayPort cable.
