This tape has worked great for the past 5 months since I switched to tubeless. No air leaks or plates. You MUST watch the Mucoffs video for installation, although otherwise you will have to do it all over again. Also learned an important lesson: check for air leaks BEFORE adding sealant! Simply inflate the tire and wash the bead and each spoke with soapy water to ensure you have applied the tape correctly, after it passes this test add sealant. It is also highly recommended to use a complete Mucoff system, not to mix and match several different grades for valve stems, bands, sealant etc, this will make your life easier in the long run.
