Review on Maximize Towing Capacity with CURT 19100 Camper RV Bumper Hitch: 4-Inch Beam, 2-Inch Receiver, 3,500 lbs by Jason Lockwood

This is exactly what I was looking for to hang a hitch basket on the rear bumper of my 4X4 trailer. I marked a star because the vertical plates were not welded parallel on the first piece we received; As a result, it did not slide on the bumper. Revain completed the replacement quickly and the second element was installed correctly within minutes. On a side note, the factory rear bumpers on most RVs and RVs are very light and not designed to support much weight other than a spare wheel carrier. I would suggest replacing it with a thicker 4" square tube. You may lose storage space for your drain hose, but metal on factory bumpers has been known to rip the frame off when hitch baskets, bike racks, etc. are added. This issue is NOT Curt Mfg's fault but something to be aware of.
