Review on Satco S1825 150W Frosted 120V by John Caine

This lamp is disappointing. This is a three-way lamp with a power of 50-100-150 watts. Burned out 100 and 150 watts in less than 5 hours of use. The bottom of 50W is still usable. I bought two of these and have another higher wattage bulb from another manufacturer (100-200-300GE 41459-6) that works on all three settings. 100-200-300W tested to ensure it is a faulty SATCO S1825 and not a floor lamp. I tested the second SATCO and it works with all settings ----- but for how long? 5 minute test. My intention was to use the lower setting most often, so far so good considering the two higher settings don't work. - not so good!. I need to keep track of how long the bulb stays on with a mode remaining. These bulbs are quite expensive so I figured it would be best to let others know about my current findings.
