Incorrect wattage in incandescent bulbs

Bought this product because it was 50 watts. It's at least 100 and going up from there. So if you're looking for the softer 50w low light they advertise, this light isn't for you.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Some minor issues

EXCELLENT LAMP REPLACEMENT

Exactly the right power for our vintage floor lamp. The old one that blew was 100/200/300. Too strong and hot. I switched to 50/100/150. Much better with the new 3-position tycoon switch. Many Thanks. Richard.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Periodicity

Works great, bulbs intact

After reading other reviews I almost didn't order them for fear they would break or not work. I ordered three Satco 50-100-150 bulbs for my old floor lamp that I inherited from my grandfather. All three worked perfectly. Carefully packed and shipped. I'm glad I found her.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I really have no complaints about that, everything is fine

Too fragile to ship safely

Based on my experience and other reviews I think these lamps are too fragile to ship without a high risk of damage in transit. Of the two bulbs ordered, one didn't work at all and the other only worked on one of the three planes (so one of the two filaments was broken). I could actually see small bits of filament rattling inside the bulb as it was brought to light.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Short life! for incandescent lamps

This lamp is disappointing. This is a three-way lamp with a power of 50-100-150 watts. Burned out 100 and 150 watts in less than 5 hours of use. The bottom of 50W is still usable. I bought two of these and have another higher wattage bulb from another manufacturer (100-200-300GE 41459-6) that works on all three settings. 100-200-300W tested to ensure it is a faulty SATCO S1825 and not a floor lamp. I tested the second SATCO and it works with all settings ----- but for how long? 5 minute test…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Didn't work, but didn't break either. . .

I ordered two of these lamps instead of a floor lamp with a three-way base. The lamp currently has a 100-200-300 bulb and is far too bright (and hot!) for me. But the point is that the lamp works well as a 3-way lamp. Strangely, neither of the two lamps I ordered work properly. A lightbulb, when I turn the lamp switch once, lights up dimly (50W). If I press a second and third time, the lamp stays at 50W and doesn't get any brighter. [In other words: OFF-ON-ON-ON-OFF, but the bulb never gets…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
