love it. Functional, beautiful, quiet, simple wall clock. Just the right size. It's a bit strange but I get this tiny surge of joy just looking at it. "Automatic" movement is what makes this thing what it is. There's something neurotic about the intermittent quartz movement in my opinion, and this watch doesn't have that, as the movement is incredibly smooth. You don't see or hear the ticking because the second hand rotates slowly and silently. like earth. I went ahead and bought the carbon-zinc batteries they recommended, not the alkaline ones. I'm not exactly sure why they recommend this, but it seems like a lot of watches recommend zinc batteries because it's a low-power device. I'm wondering if maybe the alkaline battery isn't as accurate, or maybe you need to replace it more often, I don't know. Anyway, I've had it a few weeks and the time is still spot on. One of my favorite Revain purchases. I know joy may seem strange, but look at it. I bet you will feel it too.
