One of the benefits of this brush is that you can swap out the cleaning part. However, it turns out that this feature is also its weakness. The mechanism that attaches the scrubber to the handle doesn't appear to have passed rigorous testing of the product. The attachment point is weak, causing the scrubber to regularly fall off the handle when cleaning. I had to use the full length of my fingers to grip the base while brushing to keep it from coming loose. To make matters worse, not only did the scrubber come loose easily, but so did the mechanism that attaches it. breaks easily. The scrubber and handle have tiny plastic grooves that slide into each other. These grooves are neither deep nor long enough to properly keep the scrub in a stable condition. Once the grooves break (and they will), the scrub will no longer adhere to the handle. It wouldn't matter much if the grooves on the scraper break, but it turns out the grooves on the handle are the most vulnerable and you end up with a defective, unusable product. I have ordered two of these. this. The first one broke after a few minutes. Thinking it was an accident, I ordered another one. The second lasted a week and a half before it broke like the first. I have used another Oxo product, fantastic scraper. The quality of these expectations is not met by the Good Grips palm brush. The close-up photo shows a puncture that occurred in one of the grooves in the grip.
