Overview Four Months Update

I purchased this item when my Ativa® Mobil-IT USB Car/Wall Charger (no longer available) with two USB charging ports failed. I like the four ports on the Pac2Go charger. I haven't had any issues with the charger as I've been using it daily for the past two weeks. It's larger than my Ativa® Mobil-IT USB Car/Wall Charger but fits easily into my BAGSMART Electronics Hard Drive Organizer Case for Various USB Sticks, Phones, Cables, Chargers, Black. One handy feature I wasn't expecting was the ability to unplug the bedside lamp in my hotel room to make the AC plug available for the Pac2Go, and then plug the table lamp into the Pac2Go's 110V outlet. My only complaint is that the 110V US pins are positioned over the center of the unit when plugged into a wall outlet with the USB plugs facing up. This is only a problem if both 110V sockets of the wall plug are occupied. This means you can only plug the Pac2Go into the bottom 110V outlet of a standard duplex US outlet. So any power cord that plugs into the top duplex outlet goes through the four USB ports. Whether it's a thin lamp cord or a bedside clock radio, it's flexible enough not to block access to the USB ports. A heavy three-pronged plug with cable can block access to some USB ports. And because the Pac2Go does not have an AC ground pin, connecting a three-prong power cord to a Pac2Go outlet cannot be routed through the ground for a three-prong plug. Also, you must rotate the three-prong plug 180 degrees to connect it to the Pac2go, which swaps the US standard neutral left and hot right wall outlet, which places the neutral wire of the three-prong device on the hot side of the Pac2Go- point of sale. Update October 2019: I have just returned from a trip to Peru. The Pac2Go worked great with US/Australian style 220V outlets that we found in hotels in Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. I've used Pac2Go every day since buying it to charge my iPhone, iPad, Mophie Power Station Plus 8x Battery Pack, SoundLogic Beatbox and Bose Noise Canceling Headphones. Pac2Go charges Mophie overnight via a 2.4A USB port (I think Mophi destroyed my Ativa® Mobil-IT USB car/wall charger: it took Mophie 2-3 days to charge from the Mobil-IT to charge the charger before Mobil-IT fails). The hair dryer, which was only provided by one hotel, had a wide 220V European style plug and the wall outlet in the bathroom was a 220V US/Australian style outlet. The Pac2go accepted a hairdryer plug and served as a US/AU style outlet adapter.
